Every business has a story. Most of the time it lives in conversations, in the way a founder explains what they do over coffee. The hard part is getting that same thing onto a page without sanding all the life off it.
Start with why it exists
The strongest stories start with a reason. Why does this business exist, and who is it for. Not the origin timeline, the actual reason. When you lead with that, the right people recognize themselves and lean in.

Talk to one person
Trying to talk to everyone is how you end up sounding like no one. Picture the specific person you do your best work for and write to them. The ones who fit will feel it. The ones who do not will move on, and that is fine.
Say it like you would say it
If a line would not come out of your mouth in a real conversation, it does not belong on your site. Plain words, well chosen, beat clever ones. You are trying to be understood, not admired.
Your story is the one thing a competitor cannot copy. Tell it clearly, tell it to the right person, and tell it in your own voice. That is what makes someone stop and listen.
